REQUIREMENTS: HEC Volunteer Program; responsible; permission from parent/ guardian
DESCRIPTION: Assist younger students with daily tasks such as tying aprons, getting their protection equipment; directing side projects that students complete while waiting for their turn with power tools, including: painting, measuring, drawing, gluing, etc.
ASSISTANT ENRICHMENT INSTRUCTOR:
PAY: $18/hr
CONTRACT: 1099 Contracted Position
DATES: HEC 2023/2024 Fall Semester
REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma; eligible to work in the US; Live Scan Fingerprinting
DESCRIPTION: On-the-job training for Enrichment Instructor Position – learn to implement Geek Cred curricula in a classroom setting; learn classroom management: behavior management/ time management/ preparation of materials; Assistant will first observe, then practice, then run their own computer science, engineering, or creative technology classes, demonstrating good classroom management skills and proficiency in subject; end goal is promotion to Enrichment Instructor for the Spring Semester
ENRICHMENT INSTRUCTOR:
PAY: $20-$30/hr
CONTRACT: 1099 Contracted Position

REQUIREMENTS: Promoted from Assistant Enrichment Instructor
DESCRIPTION: Prepare and implement Geek Cred curricula in classroom setting; Instruct students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Creative Engineering, and/or Graphic Design
